WEST POINT — Henry F. “Bud” Spann, 68, died Dec. 31, 2018, in West Point. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at U.F.C.W. Local #1529 Union Hall with the Rev. Dennis Hannah officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel. Carter’s Mortuary Services is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Spann was born Oct. 1, 1950, in Noxubee County, to the late Willie H. Spann and Fannie R. Spann. He was formerly employed with Bryan Foods. He is survived by his son, Maurice Bell; daughter, Erica “Ree” Spann; brothers, Howard Spann of Macon, David Spann of Memphis, Tennessee, Thomas Spann and Curtis Spann, both of St. Louis, Missouri and Leo Spann of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Jennie Spann of St. Louis, Missouri, Terry Ann Cross, Cleo Tarpley and Asalne Spann, both of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
