Another busy week in the Golden Triangle!
Get ready for the weekend with Starkville's Downtown at Sundown. Head out to FIre Station Park, at Russell and Lampkin Street, from 7-9 p.m. for a free concert featuring Flathead Ford. There will be live music and vendors. Grab your blankets and chairs for a night at the park but leave your coolers at home.
It's time to get your green thumbs growing! Oktibbeha County Master Gardeners is hosting its annual plant sale starting this Saturday from 7:30-10:30 a.m. Head out to the Starkville Community Market, corner of Lampkin and Russell Street, to check out the plant sale. All proceeds support horticulture scholarships at Mississippi State University.
Don't forget to support local farmers and vendors in the community with the Starkville and Columbus Farmers' Market. The Starkville Market, at Lampkin and Russell Street, is open Saturday from 7:30-10:30 a.m. The Columbus Market, corner of Second Avenue North and Second Street North is open 7-10 a.m.
It's time for more crawfish! Realtor Colin Krieger is hosting his annual Charity Boil for 2019 from 1-7 p.m.. Donations will benefit the Golden Triangle Homeless Coalition. Summertime is among us so that means its time for Starkville's Sunday Funday season. Celebrate the first Sunday Funday this weekend from 1-6 p.m. on University Drive between City Bagel and Scooter's Records. Come and hang out with art vendors, kid's art and live music. Sunday Funday is open the last Sunday of each month through October.
